Sonic Notes
"The texture of air" is an art and heritage project honouring two famous hospitals at a moment of change. Eastmans's Dental Hospital (EDH) and Royal national throat, nose and ear hospital (RNTNEH) both left their historic homes on the gray's inn road and united in a new shared facility in october 2019. "The texture of air" is a permanent installation at the EDH/RNTNEH hospital. It is an archive of oral histories, sounds and visuals of 3d scans made of the previous site. This work is presented online as well a permanent installation.
